As of this afternoon, John and Tyler have bicycled 1172 miles.  John and Kipp have walked 188 miles.  Kipp is beginning to complain that he and John have not walked for a few days.  The focus has been on getting in the bicycling while the weather is good – very warm – but clear with no rain!

We have been in Fort Stockton, Texas, since Friday, where the weather was very chilly until yesterday.  The RV park where we are staying is well run, and the Mexican restaurant where we ate two nights ago served a very good meal.  Most nights Kelly is our chef and, with Tyler’s assistance, provides us with delicious dinner after delicious dinner.  In the next post we will feature a number of the dinners that have made our palates happy!

Spring has arrived in Fort Stockton!

Glad some places are having spring. We woke up to 2 inches of snow in Washington today. Glad you enjoyed your stay here.

All of us have enjoyed so much our stay in Hilltop RV Park. The facilities are up to date and clean, and the owners have been very welcoming to all of us. The trees are getting their new leaves, and the flowers are blooming! We are grateful to have found this very comfortable place to stay in Fort Stockton, Texas, where we can see the horizon and enjoy the sunrises and sunsets!

It has been such a pleasure to have Diane, John, Kelly and Tyler here in our RV park. They have certainly called attention to something so many of us take for granted. I’m sure they will touch many others on their journey across our country. God bless America and God bless Tyler, Kelly, John and Diane AND Kipp
